Of je nu een strategiesessie voor mei plant, een teamdag voor juni organiseert, of alvast de heidagen voor het najaar wilt vastleggen: de vraag blijft steeds hetzelfde. Wat gaat het kosten, en wat krijg je ervoor terug?
Waar hangen de kosten van af in 2026?
De prijs van een vergaderruimte is bij ons opgebouwd uit vier heldere componenten. Zo weet je precies waar je budget naartoe gaat en waarom:
1. Location:
KW9 ligt aan de Kromme Waal 9, midden in de Amsterdamse binnenstad, letterlijk op de grachtengordel. Van Amsterdam Centraal Station ben je in 4 minuten lopen bij ons. Van de metro Noord/Zuidlijn (Station Centraal) stap je uit en loop je richting de IJ-kant, steek je het water over en je bent er. Deze centrale plek biedt grote voordelen: je teamleden uit heel Nederland kunnen met de trein komen en zijn binnen 1 tot 1,5 uur bij jou. Vanaf Utrecht CS ben je in 30 minuten bij KW9. Vanaf Rotterdam in 45 minuten. Vanaf Den Haag in 55 minuten. Vanaf Eindhoven in 1 uur en 20 minuten. Maar ook jouw (internationale) gasten kunnen ons eenvoudig bereiken per trein, tram of bus.
Wil je na jullie vergadering nog ergens eten of borrelen? Je loopt binnen 5 minuten naar tientallen goede restaurants, cafés en bars. De Dam ligt op 8 minuten lopen. De Jordaan op 10 minuten. Het IJ met zijn moderne horeca op 2 minuten.

2. Size of space:
Zoek je een intieme plek voor een MT-overleg of de hele verdieping voor de jaar-kick-off? Hoe groter de ruimte, hoe hoger de kosten. Dat spreekt voor zich. Een kleinere vergaderruimte vraagt minder schoonmaak en onderhoud dan een grote zaal voor groepen van 15-20 personen. Bij KW9 kun je kiezen uit verschillende ruimtes, perfect afgestemd op het aantal deelnemers.
- For example, are you having a small-scale meeting with 5 people? Then a smaller room with lower costs will suffice.
- Are you organizing an extended workshop or training? Then our spacious second floor with possible additional break-out rooms is ideal. Here you pay a little more, but offer everyone comfortable space.
So at KW9, you pay only for what you need.
3. Facilities and services:
What exactly do you need during your meeting? At KW9, things like high-speed internet, large screen or beamer, whiteboard, flipchart are included as standard. Our host(ess) will also be there for you all day at no extra cost. Additional requirements are of course possible, such as:
- Day package coffee & tea incl. cookies & snacks (€ 18,50 p.p.)
- Special audio technology in the Basement(price on request)
- Extensive catering with lunch, dinner or appetizers (options from €8.50 p.p.)
Compare it to a good hotel: the room itself is complete, but you can always opt for extra comfort or luxury. With KW9 you know in advance exactly what any extra options will cost, you'll never be faced with surprises.
4. Duration of the lease:
At KW9, you can rent spaces by the hour, by the half-day (4 hours) or by the full day. Often, the longer you rent, the lower the hourly rate. A full day is relatively cheaper than single day parts, because we have to plan fewer changeovers and cleaning.
Need extra time after a half-day session, for example? No point, extension is usually possible at a clear fixed hourly rate (around €75 per extra hour). Our team is happy to think with you.
Tip: Unsure about the right duration? Then book a half day first. If it appears during the session that extra time is needed, you can often extend on the spot (provided there is space available!).
What does a meeting room cost at KW9?
Naturally, you'd like to know right away what renting a meeting room costs. At KW9, we deliberately choose clear prices. Below is an overview of current rates and options, so you can get an immediate idea of your investment.
Small meeting (up to about 8 people):
Heb je een kleine groep voor bijvoorbeeld een brainstormsessie of kwartaalmeeting met een paar collega’s? Dan kun je bij KW9 een vergaderruimte huren. Voor een ochtend of middag van 4 uur op de Begane Grond betaal je €350 (excl. btw). Hierbij zijn snel internet, een groot presentatiescherm en basispresentatiemateriaal inbegrepen. Onze host(ess) staat de hele dag voor je klaar, zonder extra kosten. Deze kleinere vergaderruimte bieden je de rust en privacy van een eigen plek, zonder dat je betaalt voor een te grote zaal. Neem hiervoor gerust contact met ons op.
Large meeting or event (8 to 20 people):
For larger groups, we recommend the more spacious meeting rooms. On the prices page you will find the prices per floor listed per half day or full day.
These rates include:
- Personal host(ess) to support throughout the day
- Chilled water
- Use of large screen (TV/beamer), good wifi, flip charts and presentation materials
- Use of reserved space
Would you like to combine a meeting with dinner, drinks or an evening program? Then we charge the advantageous "Day + Evening" rate.
Additional break-out rooms:
Want to use one or more breakout rooms in addition to your main space? You can. For example, you book oekt the First Floor and add two smaller rooms on the Ground Floor as breakout rooms. This way you can divide up to about 20 people into different subgroups. This is perfect for workshops, trainings and strategic sessions where you alternate between plenary sessions and working in smaller groups.

Hybrid meetings or videocalls? KW9 has stable fiber optic internet that allows you to stream or hold online meetings without any problems. Each room is equipped with a large presentation screen or beamer, HDMI cables, flip charts, markers, post-its and all meeting supplies. So you don't need to bring anything yourself, everything is plug & play ready.
Catering and extras: make your meeting complete
What's a meeting without a tasty lunch or convivial closing? At KW9, you can choose from a variety of catering options provided by local partners and our own culinary ambassadors (such as chef Yuna Verwiel):
- Coffee & tea package (€ 18.50 p.p.): extras such as luxury cookies, fresh fruit and continuous replenishment.
- Tasty lunch (€ 18.50 p.p.): mix of fresh sandwiches (vega, fish, meat), salad and fruit.
- Lunch deluxe (€ 26.50 p.p.): hot meal with bread, dips and various salads.
- Drinks & bites (€22.50 p.p.): various drinks (beer, wine, soft drinks) with tasty appetizers (olives, cheeses, nuts).
Do you have other requirements, such as a private dinner or unique team-building activity after your meeting? KW9 is happy to think along with you. For example:
